2 Routes

1. Project Based Learning

• Students and teachers generate the questions based on interest, curriculum standards, and local resources.
  
• Teacher helps student recall what they already know so that they can generate questions of value. The teacher then provides resources appropriate for exploration.
• Students show what they know.
  

2. Negotiating the Curriculum

• The questions form a basis for the curriculum and include personal growth/ social issues etc.
• The students are asking the questions based on what they see around them. "Real World"
